The Warehouse Specialist oversees all material flow, handling ordering, receiving, tracking, moving, and storing inventory to ensure accurate and efficient warehouse operations.
- Receive incoming inventory, log it into the system, and stock items in the proper location
- Fill customer invoices
- Check part numbers, clean, and pack inventory items
- Inspect inventory for defects, scratches, or other damage
- Notify the Warehouse Manager of any problems
- Follow all safety and accident procedures, including when operating vehicles or equipment
- Track all inventory in the appropriate system
- Organize and clean warehouse space and equipment as needed
- Report customer problems or concerns immediately
- Coach associates on warehouse practices, equipment operation, and safety procedures
- Enforce policies to ensure efficient, effective, and safe warehouse operations
- Evaluate current processes and recommend improvements to management
- Maintain working knowledge of the warehouse data system and perform related tasks
- Deliver supplies and equipment promptly while complying with DOT and OSHA standards
- Maintain accurate records in the warehouse information system

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of warehouse experience, forklift operation skills, strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Oracle, web tools), and the ability to work long hours, lift up to 50 lb, and communicate effectively in a fast‑paced setting.
- Read work orders, shipping orders, or follow verbal instructions
- Hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Possess at least 2 years of warehouse experience
- Be able to walk or stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lb regularly, up to 50 lb occasionally
- Have forklift operating experience; certification is a plus
- Proficient with PCs and software, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, Oracle, and web‑based tools
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
- Work well with others in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
