In addition to grid responsibilities, you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in broader aspects of project development, including site feasibility assessments, planning support, and land agreements.

The Grid Connections Co-ordinator will play a key role in managing and tracking grid connection applications, supporting the wider development team to deliver projects efficiently from application through to energisation.

  • Prepare and submit grid connection applications to DNOs, IDNOs, and National Grid ESO.
  • Review and interpret connection offers, highlighting risks, errors, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the wider development team with site identification, feasibility studies, and landowner engagement.
  • Act as a key point of contact for external stakeholders on grid-related matters.
  • Liaise with network operators, consultants, and internal teams to ensure projects stay on schedule.
  • Monitor the progress of grid connection activities and maintain accurate records.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented professional with a solid understanding of grid connection processes and a passion for renewable energy.

  • Confident communicator, able to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of GB distribution and transmission networks and grid connection procedures.
  • Familiarity with relevant engineering standards (G99, G100, P28, G5) and the CUSC.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
