Work conditions require wearing safety equipment, performing tasks at heights on scaffolding, ladders, or man‑baskets, and operating in confined spaces. Technicians will be exposed to operating equipment, radiation, and hazardous chemicals, work shifts up to 12 hours per day, seven days a week, and may travel for extended periods while lifting up to 100 pounds.
ATS is seeking Maritime NDT Trainees and experienced Maritime NDT Level II Technicians for its Seattle office. The role is open to entry‑level candidates who have completed formal NDT classroom hours as well as seasoned technicians proficient in VT, PT, MT, UT, and/or RT methods. It is a permanent position with pay based on experience and certifications.
All NDT technicians will support field projects, collect and evaluate test data for accuracy, maintain and report results, and complete required documentation. They must be able to read technical documents and engineering specifications, follow precise procedures, work safely, adapt to changing schedules, use computers for data entry, and possess or obtain a passport and TWIC. Applicants must learn company policies, demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication, pass a drug screen, and hold a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
