Establish and maintain effective communication with customers, partners, and suppliers on technical topics, ensuring transparency, responsiveness, and trust.
Mentor and empower project engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the engineering organization.
Represent engineering in project governance, participate in process & quality improvement, providing clear reporting on progress, issues, and KPIs, and contributing to key project reviews and decisions.
Ensure high standards of quality and compliance, applying internal processes, safety (EHS) requirements, and industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Support site teams during execution, ensuring a smooth transition from design to construction and commissioning, and resolving technical issues efficiently.
Address potential logistical challenges such as working across different time zones.
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring that deliverables are integrated, consistent, and aligned with project milestones.
Carry our regular and thorough reviews of the progress and delivery of the PDG scope of work assessing all aspects of the project, including time, cost, quality, and risks.
Own the end-to-end delivery of engineering activities of the PDG scope of works, ensuring alignment with schedule, budget, and technical requirements.

Excellent communication and leadership skills: able to influence, align teams, and represent engineering with confidence in internal and customer meetings.
Project engineering experience ideally across international and multicultural environments.
Understanding and applying safety and environmental regulations, which might differ from international standards.
10+ years of experience as Project/Engineering Manager or similar role within Energy, Transmission, Distribution, Oil & Gas, Power Generation, or similar industries
Experience with SVC/STATCOM or similar systems are seeing as benefit.
Must be flexible with working hours and willing to travel to support projects globally.
Cultural adaptability and sensitivity, given the diverse and multicultural nature of both the team and the local context.
Strong project management skills and understanding of engineering project lifecycles, technical interfaces, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and multiple stakeholders.
Engineering degree in Electrical or similar technical field) from an accredited university.
