Oversee the activities of Vegetation Management associates (PSE&G and Vendor Resources) to ensure safe and efficient vegetation related activities outside of plant facilities.
Assign and direct work to accomplish the desired results in a safe, efficient, and expeditious manner.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance and oversight of Distribution and/or Transmission vegetation line clearance activities.
Be willing to respond outside of normal hours.
Advanced education involving Arboriculture and/or related experience.
Ability to embrace and utilize evolving industry technologies.
Because the job requires driving to company locations and off-site assignments and events, must have a valid U. S. driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualified (TRAQ)
Must exhibit ability to recognize unusual conditions and take corrective action.
Extensive knowledge of applicable portions of Company/Union agreement.
Practical knowledge regarding individual plant species and growth rates
Must obtain an acceptable score on the First Line Supervisor's Test (FLST) unless presently an internal employee and directly supervising (i.e., responsible for performance review) union, operating department/represented associates for a minimum of 12 continuous months. For those who have previously taken and received an acceptable score on the FLST but who are not presently and directly supervising represented associates, test results will be valid for a maximum period of two years from the date the test was taken. Acceptable test results exceeding the two-year period (for those applicants not presently and directly supervising represented associates) cannot be used in bidding on or applying for a first line supervisory position for which the test was validated.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental compliance requirements.
Must be ISA Certified Arborist & ISA Utility Specialist.
