In this role, you will be responsible for the upkeep of building structures, systems, and equipment within a secure environment, ensuring reliability and safety for all operations.
- Maintain and repair the facility’s physical structure to ensure safe and secure operations.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair machinery and equipment.
- Install and repair electrical wiring, components, and apparatus for equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance according to the established plan.
- Supervise and track inmates/residents assigned to the Maintenance Department.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of general maintenance or construction experience, or equivalent technical training, a valid driver’s license, and a minimum age of 18. Knowledge of building construction and systems is preferred, and CoreCivic is a drug‑free workplace and an EOE including disability/veteran.
