Tasks

-Perform diagnostic tests, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions, and execute regularly scheduled maintenance on heating and cooling units. -Participate in startup and commissioning of new units, applying expertise to support a state-of-the-art facility. -Prioritize safety by adhering to licensing requirements, operating equipment safely, recognizing HVAC-related hazards, completing safety training, and implementing effective safety measures. -Cultivate strong customer relationships and ensure timely escalation of issues for resolution when necessary. -Review and interpret regulatory requirements and technical documents, including blueprints and diagrams.

What You Bring

-Centrifugal chiller experience -Experience with data center equipment -5+ years working experience in the HVAC Industry -EPA Universal -Be a current union member or willing to join a union, and pass examination regarding the abilities and know-how of Building Trades Journeyman, conducted by an Examining Board -Advanced Safety Support: Fall protection provided where required, plus respirators and earplugs as needed. -Experience with Steam Turbines -Possess High School Diploma/GED -3+ years working with air cooled chillers -Basic understanding of building automation controls (BOMAC) -Ability to stand, crawl, sit, squat of extended period of times -Possess and maintain valid and current Driver’s License and be insurable by the company’s insurance carrier -Ability to push/pull/lift up to 50lbs, climb a ladder and work on rooftops -Excellent communication skills both written and verbal -OSHA 30 Certification
