Capable of working at heights and/or confined spaces.
Able to read/write and communicate effectively.
Possess broad knowledge of all climbing skills and all other technical aspects (both mechanical and manual) of electrical line clearance operations.
Adapt quickly to abrupt changes in plans and schedules.
Working knowledge of all the equipment and tools used on crews and know how to operate the equipment in the most efficient manner.
Able to work for extended periods in various locations, when required.
Understand proper use of company radio.
Valid driver’s license.
Able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
Understand the proper use and maintenance of hand tools.
Readily join storm restoration efforts in times of need.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
Capable of receiving and following directions.
Demonstrate possession of the knowledge and experience required in subordinate positions.
Excellent communication skills
Understand when to wear personal protective equipment.
Must be able to work outside, frequently in inclement weather.

A Commercial Driver’s License is strongly preferred.

Must have proven skills through job performance as a top climber (CA).
Able to travel long distances on short notice, when required.
Understand the Line Clearance Contract with the Owner and be able to adhere to it.
