As a casual Lifeguard you will be the first line of safety for pool users, providing proactive supervision and calm, responsible intervention when needed. Your observant and patient nature will help create a safe environment and ensure the smooth operation of the aquatic facilities.
If you do not already hold a Pool Lifeguard Practising Certificate (PLPC), you will be required to attend a training programme at West Wave Pool and Leisure Centre from 2 February to 13 February 2026, Monday to Friday, 8 am‑4 pm. Successful candidates will also receive a First Aid certificate at no cost.
We are looking for strong swimmers of any age who can pass a swim test and hold current PLPC and First Aid certifications. Ideal candidates demonstrate reliability, excellent communication and administration skills, and a proven track record of outstanding customer service.

The position is casual and rostered over a 7‑day period, offering flexibility for candidates with multiple‑day availability. In addition to lifeguarding duties, you may be asked to help with administrative tasks and occasional shift cover for Customer Support and Fitness teams.
