Application of hydraulic, hydrologic, or hydrogeologic modeling systems to support the planning and design of related infrastructure, such as: pipelines, open channels, pump stations, channel stabilization techniques, rapid infiltration systems, storage and treatment facilities, wellfields, and other natural and manmade systems.
Demonstrate creative, foresight and mature engineering judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented engineering problems
Knowledge of structural and geotechnical design concepts, analytical laboratory techniques and familiarity with codes and regulation related to drinking water
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
Registration as a Professional Engineer
Proficient in public speaking roles
Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
Familiar with a broad range of issues related to wastewater and reuse systems, including master planning, conveyance, with an emphasis on treatment plant design.
Understanding and application of water supply planning, demand management, alternatives analysis, and feasibility studies for small to large water supply projects of moderate complexity.
Ability to evaluate progress of staff and results obtained, and recommends major changes to achieve overall objectives
Work well in a team environment
Must have demonstrated experience with managing and designing medium- to large-sized projects with full responsibility for budget, schedule, contractual obligations and quality standards
