Laboratory Assistant

Description

• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the laboratory space.
• Receive and verify the identification of biological specimens such as blood and urine.
• Process and store specimens according to established protocols.
• Perform clerical duties including maintaining supply inventory and filing.
• Stock laboratory supplies and receive shipments.
• Utilize various computer information systems efficiently.

Requirements

• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred, with no experience required if degree is obtained.
• Proficiency in specimen processing and understanding of standard operating procedures.
• High School Diploma or GED with over 1 year of lab or related experience.
• Previous experience or knowledge of computers, keyboarding, and telephone operations.
