- Oversee centralized work scheduling and planning across Electric Operations with a focus on improving organizational performance and promoting integrated planning and project completion, including preparation and prioritization of work plans and schedules, resource and materials requirements and forecasts, and coordinates with other process owners for optimal resource utilization.
- Responsible for the integrated resource plan and schedule to execute the Electric Operations annual work plan including engineering and design support for timely delivery of project plans, specifications, drawings and permits. Develop an annual forecast of internal and external resource needs.
- Responsible for the integrated analytical assessment of internal and external resources to drive project completion.
- Manage performance by reviewing and evaluating work of employees. Build consensus and communicate performance measures and expected performance levels. Assess and improve team and employee performance through coaching.
- Oversee development of area staff. Develop a mindset of ownership and employee accountability for outcomes and consistent level of productivity and quality of work.
- Identify, develop and implement work process and best practices for overall planning and scheduling. Identify potential risks in operations or scheduling and develop mitigation strategies.
- In collaboration with the management team, set the direction of contract strategy and contract management philosophy to minimize cost and maximize quality and timeliness.

- Excellent communication and leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Deep understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.
- Contractor oversight/management experience.
- Knowledge of electric maintenance delivery practices.
- Ability to proactively monitor changing industry trends and develop appropriate strategies/plans.
- Requires extensive knowledge of transmission and distribution issues and activities within the electric utility industry.
- Master’s Degree.
- Prior supervisory/management experience.
- Strong analytical and forecasting abilities; strategic decision maker.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related discipline, with 5 years relevant experience; or an Associate’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience; or a High School Diploma and 15 years of relevant experience in electric operations, transmission, distribution, system design, or engineering.
- PMP Certification (Project Management Professional).
