  • Setup and adjust CNC Machines
  • Maintain a clean, clutter-free workstation.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities
  • Check coolant for refractometer reading
  • Work with Quality dept. to interpret layout data
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • Comply with safety policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for all machined parts on the CNC machine.
  • Clean machine at the end of the shift
  • Inform the Supervisor of any equipment problems or any other problems.
  • Accepts feedback from the Team Leader to ensure the bundles meet safety standards.
  • Work in a safe manner always wearing all required Proper Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Perform equipment/maintenance checks to include:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.

  • Preferred experience with Haas, Brother and DMG Mori CNC Machining Centers
  • CNC programming.
  • Working knowledge of Horizontal Mills
  • Working knowledge of Vertical CNC Mills (3 and 4 Axis)
  • Able to participate in a collaborative environment.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently and effectively; self-motivated; self-starter.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • SPC quality sheets
  • Able to read and understand inspection tools. (Micrometers, calipers, comparator).
  • Must be conscientious, diplomatic, and detail oriented.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to understand material handling techniques to package parts off CNC as necessary
  • HS Diploma/GED
  • Must pass a company background check and drug screen.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Working knowledge of all CNC screens and functions
