Wilson Construction Company has an immediate opening in our Rancho Cordova office for a highly experienced Sr. Project Manager with extensive estimating and large project management experience, a positive results‑oriented attitude, and the ability to lead, manage, and provide valuable input to project teams.
Successful candidates should have senior‑level experience in electrical underground estimating and construction for large‑scale projects and will be organized, motivated self‑starters and leaders within the utility construction industry.
- Ten+ years of office/field management or technical services experience in 69 kV‑500 kV utility underground construction, including mid‑to‑upper‑level management.
- Minimum five years as lead estimator and lead project manager on major underground utility projects.
- Extensive background in transmission, distribution, and substation estimating and construction (beneficial).
- Expertise in project management, including scheduling, cost estimating, coordination, and quality control.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Technology, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with MS Office; Microsoft Project and Primavera skills are a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to work outdoors and travel extensively as required.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Rancho Cordova, CA, within reasonable commuting distance.
