- Preparation of permit and construction level engineering site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Preparation of a variety of technical reports, including stormwater management reports, Erosion and Sediment Control Plans & Narratives, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), and Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure Plans (SPCC).
- Quantity take-off and cost estimating
- Attending and Leading Project Progress, Pre-Bid and Pre-Construction Meetings
- Cost Estimating
- Asset Inventory Analysis and Capital Planning
- Attending City Council and Board Meetings
- Stormwater management design, including grading, piping, and stormwater quantity and quality design
- Field investigations and construction oversight.

- Strong people skills.
- Experience in civil land development, stream restoration, flood plain analysis and flood plain permitting are a plus
- Hydraulic and Hydrologic Analysis
- Willingness to assist with various types of field work, including but not limited to soil and groundwater investigations, inspections, and construction oversight.
- Grant Writing and Administration
- Must be flexible, organized, dependable, and accountable with a proactive approach to responsibilities.
- 2-5 years’ experience in water resources, or similar with skills in site layout, grading, erosion and sediment control plans, engineering details, and stormwater management design
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program.
- Engineer-In-Training (EI or EIT) Certification Preferred or ability to complete within 6 months of joining
- Responsive attitude when interacting with staff, peers, management, and clients.
- Professional Engineering License is a plus
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements applicable to project work, including stormwater management, land development, and water quality.
- Experience in use of hydrology and hydraulics design software, such as HydroCAD®, AutoCAD Storm and Sanitary Analysis, Bentley StormCAD, Bentley CivilStorm, EPA SWMM, PCSWMM, and HEC-RAS.
- Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling,
- Have strong communications skills, both written and oral.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2022 or later is a plus
