- Perform coax maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
- Read, interpret, and work from complex prints, splicing diagrams, and equipment layouts.
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure appropriate safety equipment is used at all times.
- Install, terminate, splice, test, certify, and document coax cabling in both inside and outside plant environments.
- Support customers and project teams while maintaining Cannon's high standards of quality and service.

Cannon Companies is expanding our Communications Division and looking for an experienced Coax Foreman to join our field team. If you're a hands-on leader with deep telecommunications expertise-and you take pride in building top-tier coax networks-this is your opportunity to join a company that values craftsmanship, safety, and teamwork. - Ability to obtain a medical certificate for driving commercial vehicles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and self-motivated. • Must be willing to travel as required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours-days, nights, or both.
- Telecom certifications are a huge plus (BICSI, FOA, etc.).
- Strong background in coax cabling, terminating, and testing.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Ability to distinguish varying cable types. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- 7+ years of direct experience in the telecommunications field.
- Reliable transportation.
- Perform coax splicing with precision, accuracy, and strong attention to detail.
