Maintain an interest in food safety matters, actively participate in food safety training and be aware of all the control measures and record keeping for which they are directly responsible.
Responsible for assisting and ensuring that the beverage sales forecasted for the outlet are met
Report immediately to the immediate supervisor on any concerns that may be observed or realized which may affect food safety.
Support Outlet Managers and staff in driving the sales of coffees.
Preparing alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant.
Preparing bar mise en place as per opening and closing checklists
Assessing bar customers’ needs and preferences and making recommendations
Gather guest preferences and record it in seven-rooms (restaurant reservations system) under the “Coffee” segment/tag
Ensure honesty and integrity in the way tasks are executed and records maintained.
Liaise with L&D department to provide structured content for wider trainings
Assist in creating, maintaining and developing all coffee stocks, sales data and coffee menu
Ensure that all coffees are stored, presented and served to the required standards
Share knowledge and encourage the team to develop their coffee knowledge further through regular training sessions
Regularly review the coffee offering in line with the current trends and ensure that the list appeals to a diverse customer base
Follows all hygiene requirements ISO, monitors cleanliness in his work area and ensures cleaning of those areas as per standards
Contribute to a positive food safety culture and comply with the O&O FSMS & Codex HACCP and Dubai Municipality food safety requirements.
