Support the project managers and project teams as needed in monitoring and interpreting KPIs and related actions for effective management of scope of work, budget, timeline, change orders and risk, to ensure successful completion of the project.
Collaborate with cross-program teams to gather and analyze data, identifying areas for cost optimization and improvement.
Conduct comprehensive cost analysis and reporting to ensure efficient contract financial management.
Work with controls managers to provide month-end financial close reports and variance analysis, providing key stakeholders with valuable insights into contract performance.
Ensure cost management systems are updated/maintained and accurate.
Contribute subject matter expertise in the development and management of key metrics and KPI’s.
Analyze risks and opportunities, proactively contributing to cost-saving strategies and process improvements.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Must be able to grasp and demonstrate a full understanding of data and business intelligence through report design and analysis.
Competency in all Microsoft Excel and proficient use of other MS Office products such as P6, Unifier, and other commercially available project control software.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance or closely related field.
Minimum of 2+ years of related cost engineering experience, preferably in the Engineering PM/CM setting.
Awareness and understanding of estimating best practices.
Strong analytical skills and high degree of organization and business acumen.
Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work with all levels of management and professionals with diverse backgrounds.
Understand the programmatic operating processes, cost flows and financial tracking systems.
Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients’ toughest challenges.
Experience with early programming, establishing the cost model, and providing updated forecast at completion through the life cycle of the project from conception to completion.
Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.
