Contracts Administrator

Description

• Forecast project performance, build financial models, control costs and produce performance reports.
• Procure subcontractors and negotiate commercial terms in line with company protocols.
• Manage subcontractor agreements, including payments, variations, claims and extensions of time.
• Prepare monthly head‑contract progress claims.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, Commercial Manager and project team to mitigate commercial and financial risks.

Requirements

The opportunity is for an experienced Contract Administrator to join the South East Queensland team, supporting multidisciplinary projects, advancing professional expertise and contributing to the company’s continued success.

• Understand commercial aspects of construction and utilities contracts and identify contractual and financial risks.
• Formal qualifications in Contract Management or Quantity Surveying (desirable).
• Proven end‑to‑end procurement and contract formation experience in construction or utilities.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen for the construction/utilities sector.
• Experience preparing and negotiating contractual notifications and claims.
• Advanced IT skills, particularly Excel and Word; JDE knowledge is a plus.
