Project Engineer – Interior Fit-Out

Description

• Review and interpret shop drawings, specifications, and material submittals to ensure accuracy on site.
• Prepare and update project schedules, daily progress reports, and resource allocations.
• Conduct site inspections to verify workmanship and adherence to quality standards.
• Coordinate between design, production, procurement, and site teams for smooth project execution.
• Assist in leading and managing end-to-end project execution for civil, MEP, and interior fit-out works.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and installation.
• Manage and document RFIs, IRs, submittals, and other project correspondence.
• Identify technical issues or design conflicts and propose practical solutions.
• Monitor site progress and ensure timely completion of assigned works.
• Support the Project Manager in client coordination, reporting, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines, budgets, and safety protocols.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our team and support the successful execution of interior fit-out and construction projects. You will be the technical backbone of project coordination, ensuring all works are executed according to approved drawings, materials, and specifications. The ideal candidate is a deadline achiever with a strong grasp of interior fit-out trades, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills with strong follow-up discipline.
• Proficient in MS Project, AutoCAD, and project reporting tools.
• Skilled in project planning, scheduling, and technical coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accuracy under pressure.
• Experience in structural engineering is a plus
• Proven experience in high-end residential and commercial fit-out projects.
• Must be able to join immediately or within short notice.
• UAE/GCC experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture (required).
• Strong background in civil, structural, interior fit-out, and MEP coordination.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fit-out, civil, and MEP project engineering.
