Sr. Service Technician - e-Storage

Description

Wondering what your day-to-day could look like as our new Sr. Service Technician? You will be an integral part of the service team with the main responsibility to commission and complete preventative and corrective maintenance of CSI Energy Storage’s Sol bank Storage Power Block (SPB). The individual will also be responsible to complete obligations under Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA’s) of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.

• Support client training during commissioning
• Team up with talented colleagues and partners to achieve project goals.
• Work on projects that matter—helping to build a cleaner, greener world.
• Perform proper LOTO and switching procedures as required.
• Preventative and Corrective Maintenance of SPB’s to adhere to warranty requirements.
• Provide onsite diagnostic, troubleshooting and hands on support to maintain
• Complete work order documentation in a timely matter
• Oversee and supervise sub-contractors on site where required.
• Champion our standards for quality, safety, and sustainability.
• Assist in developing standard operating procedures and processes.
• Ensure inventory of spare parts is accurate.
• Adhere to all health and safety rules and policies.

Requirements

• Previous experience with a CMMS software program preferred.
• Ring Main Units (RMU’s) / Switchgear
• Demonstrated professional appearance and conduct.
• Energy Storage Cabinets (ESC’s)
• SCADA and networking devices
• Knowledge of general and national codes, medium voltage power systems and Energy
• First Aid Trained
• Demonstrated proficiency using MS Office Applications (Word, Excel)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Qualified Electrical Technician
• Previous training and knowledge of inverters
• Ability to function successfully both independently and within a team.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Great communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
• SCADA experience will be beneficial.
• OSHA 30 Certified (OSHA 10 certification is accepted as long as OSHA 30 is obtained
