  • Review and approve change orders, invoices, and pay applications.
  • Ensure subcontractor compliance with contract scope, schedule, safety, and federal contracting standards.

  • Coordinate critical path activities to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Oversee development of master project schedules using tools such as Primavera or MS Project.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Lead project planning and strategy, aligning construction activities with the Sevan's business objectives.
  • Set the Standard: Be a role model for professional behavior, fostering a workplace culture that motivates and inspires others.
  • Provide regular project status updates, reports, and executive summaries to stakeholders.
  • Oversee design team collaboration, value engineering, and early procurement strategies.
  • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement on all projects.
  • Serve as the senior point of contact for federal, state, and municipal clients, consultants, and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide overall direction and leadership to project teams, including Project Managers, Assistant PMs, Project Engineers, and Superintendents.
  • Resolve disputes and ensure strong working relationships are maintained.
  • Oversee implementation of QA/QC plans and conduct periodic site inspections.
  • Oversee submission of final O&M manuals, warranties, and as-built drawings.
  • Negotiate, issue, and manage owner and subcontractor agreements, including government contracts.
  • Lead all phases of complex ground-up and renovation projects, particularly for government facilities and infrastructure.
  • Ensure adherence to scheduled milestones, proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
  • Lead budgeting, scheduling, risk analysis, and constructability reviews with a focus on federal acquisition and compliance standards.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
  • Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback in collaboration with department leadership.

  • Mentor and develop staff, fostering expertise in both commercial and government contracting.
  • Support contract negotiation, scope definition, and subcontractor prequalification with an emphasis on government requirements.
  • Ensure timely and organized project closeout including punch list completion, commissioning, and turnover documentation.
  • Enforce company safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and local safety regulations.
  • Monitor cash flow, cost control, and profit margins throughout the project.
  • Manage client expectations and lead project debriefs and closeout meetings.
  • Conduct regular project team meetings to ensure coordination, accountability, and alignment with objectives.

  • Deep understanding of construction means and methods, cost control, scheduling, and safety.
  • Proven success delivering large-scale commercial, healthcare, education, or multi-family projects with a general contractor.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field or 10–15 years of progressive construction experience with a general contractor.
  • LEED Accreditation or experience with sustainable building practices is preferred
  • Proficiency in construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, Primavera).
  • State/local General Contractors license is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • PMP and CQMC preferred.
  • OSHA 30, or ability to acquire, is required
