As a Fire Sprinkler Install Apprentice you will learn to install, test, repair and maintain fire sprinkler systems while working under the guidance of experienced technicians.
You will receive hands‑on training to cut, thread and fit pipes, read blueprints, and understand system components, codes and safety procedures. Collaboration with seasoned team members will help you troubleshoot and repair valves, pipes and fittings, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and safely.
- Assist technicians in accurate installation of fire sprinkler systems following blueprints and specifications.
- Apply proper techniques to cut, thread, and fit pipes ensuring precise alignment and secure connections.
- Identify and repair system components such as valves, pipes, and fittings.
- Support the installation team to meet project deadlines and provide required assistance.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and consistently use required personal protective equipment.
- Lift, push, and pull heavy pipe sections ranging from 10 lb to 75 lb and perform work at height or in confined spaces.
- Comply with the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
