The Renewal Coordinator will develop and execute a customer‑focused strategy aimed at higher retention, increased revenue per customer, and effective pricing escalations while ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
Key duties include managing all retention activities, reaching out to customers in writing 120 days before renewal, re‑estimating contracts to reflect current labor rates, and achieving a minimum 95% renewal rate. The coordinator prepares and participates in monthly renewal meetings, addresses customer concerns, manages renewal dates, and identifies upsell opportunities across fire alarm, sprinkler, and security product lines. Acting as the primary point of contact, they build strong relationships with each customer’s departments and collaborate with internal managers to improve service delivery, sharing status updates in weekly sales meetings and meeting customers in person as needed.
Ideal candidates possess knowledge of the fire alarm, fire protection, or security industries, preferably a bachelor’s degree, though a mix of education and experience is acceptable. Over‑the‑counter sales or customer service experience, proactive outreach, strong problem‑solving abilities, effective communication, and solid negotiation skills are essential.
