Requirements engineer for a defense project, responsible for managing requirements across the full development cycle including elicitation, definition, verification, validation, and risk management.
Requirements elicitation: Gather requirements from multiple sources and determine their applicability to a specific project
Maintain context and structure: ensure requirements are complete and traceable and grouped for better organisation and clarity
Risk Management: Identifying, tracking, and mitigating risks related to requirements
Requirements definition: translating customer and user needs into clear, actionable, verifiable engineering requirements, define and document project goals
Verification and Validation: provide evidence based justifications to verify requirements of have been attained during the design phase and propose validation activities for subsequent manufacturing and testing phases

Previous involvement in defence or other highly regulated/safety-critical sectors
Degree-level qualification in engineering or equivalent industry experience
Signatory to the Armed Forces Covenant.
Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse, multi-disciplinary teams
Strong hands-on experience with requirements management tools
