Mechanical Designer

Description

• Manage time effectively and report progress to the Design Manager and Lead Designer.
• Communicate professionally with team members and managers to gather necessary information for accurate drawings.
• Participate in job status meetings to ensure project alignment.
• Generate detailed drawings using Solidworks as directed by the Design Manager and Lead Designers.
• Accurately and efficiently produce shop drawings.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting with mechanical inclination.
• Willingness to travel once per quarter to project sites.
• Proficiency in Solidworks.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering specifications.
• Experience with CAMduct, CAMmep, and/or Navisworks.
• Experience working on sheet metal projects.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, other Autodesk products, and PDM Software.
• Strong mechanical design skills.
