The Mobile Equipment Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment, diagnose mechanical issues, and determine appropriate solutions. Regular inspections will be conducted to keep equipment in optimal condition, and accurate records of all maintenance and repair work will be maintained. Collaboration with team members ensures efficient operations.
Successful candidates must have a strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, be able to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics, and be proficient with hand and power tools. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are required, along with a firm commitment to safety and quality standards.
Employment is contingent upon a post‑offer physical examination, drug/alcohol screening, and background check; some positions may require ongoing FMCSA‑regulated testing. The role is performed in environments involving moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels.
Compensation ranges from $25 to $32 per hour depending on experience, complemented by a 401(k) plan with automatic company contributions and matching.
