Description

• Oversee/participate in documentation, ensuring high-quality detailing and technical accuracy.
• Creating design clarity across complex briefs and collaborating with clients to drive high-impact outcomes
• Translate design ideas into outcomes with impact
• Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to coordinate design intent and project delivery.
• Leading medium to large-scale design projects, guiding them from strategy through to delivery
• Building and nurturing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and helping win work
• Lead the design process from concept through to completion, ensuring design excellence and innovation.
• Develop and present compelling design concepts, material palettes, and spatial strategies.
• Lead and mentor teams in a collaborative, inclusive way
• Stay ahead of industry trends, materials, and sustainable design practices to inform innovative solutions.
• Mentoring and developing talent within the studio—coaching others, sharing knowledge, and helping grow future leaders
• Balance creative thinking with commercial outcomes
• Manage client relationships, acting as a key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contributing to the commercial performance of our projects and studio, ensuring design and business goals are aligned
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering their professional growth.
• Guide projects across design quality, budget, timeline and delivery
• Role-modelling design leadership, championing sustainable, inclusive and innovative design approaches

You're an experienced and confident design professional with 10+ years in landscape architecture, urban design or planning—someone who can lead large-scale projects and bring people together around a shared vision.

• Confident in presenting ideas, collaborating with teams, and engaging with clients.
• Project Management experience in coordinating teams, budgets, and timelines effectively.
• Experience working with clients across commercial sectors is essential, ideally with a good working knowledge of the Australian market.
• Bachelor Degree, or higher qualification, in Architecture.
• Degree in Architecture.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and embraces change with a solutions-focused mindset.
• Able to work effectively across multiple disciplines, teams, and geographies.
• Strong conceptual design skills and attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively with clients and partners—ideally in both English and Mandarin (preferred, not essential)
• Work confidently across design tools such as Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and others
• Ability to lead and inspire design teams, with strong conceptual thinking and attention to detail.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Several years’ experience with a leading Architectural design firm, with a strong portfolio of completed commercial / workplace projects.
• Proficiency in Auto Cad, Adobe Creative Suite and Enscape (or other rendering tools).
• Ability to think creatively and adapt to project challenges.
