The Role
Overview
Prepare technical CAD drawings and graphics for urban development and infrastructure projects.

Tasks
-Assist with knowledge transfer through project participation as well as in-house professional development initiatives. -Preparation of technical drawings, such as CAD Master Plans and concept street designs, plans of Subdivision, Local Development Plans and sales plans. -Liaising with our team to obtain briefings on outputs, and to update on output/ production task progress; -Collaborate on exciting projects to develop innovative solutions -Management of digital data on Hatch’s systems, according with document control protocols; -Liaising with clients (where directed) via email and phone to obtain digital data, and transmitting digital data on behalf of colleagues as required; -Preparation of urban design graphics to effectively communicate ideas working closely with the urban designers and project managers. -Preparation of documentation for a range of planning and design projects including technical drawings for built form and infrastructure projects utilizing Hatch templates and style guides as required; -Comply with adopted Hatch administrative and management procedures. -Working within multi-disciplinary project teams (including client and external consultants).

What You Bring
-Ability to assist the team effectively and co-operatively -Exposure to a range of expertise in the urban and built environments across Australia and around the world -1-3 years experience in the engineering, infrastructure, construction or urban property development industry (desirable) -Can work both independently and in a team environment -Has a team focused work ethic and a client service ethos -Bachelor or post graduate qualifications in urban planning, geography, urban design, landscape architecture, or other related built environment discipline (desirable) -Communicates effectively with our team, clients, co-consultants and other external clients/ associates with clarity, respect, honesty and integrity that contributes to a positive team dynamic -Effective interpersonal/ communication skills, attention to detail and decision making ability -Effective time management skills including the ability to prioritise workloads and perform tasks efficiently and demonstrated accuracy, attention to detail and high levels of presentation -Completion of TAFE or equivalent qualification in architectural/built form, urban or graphic design, engineering, or related discipline. -CAD (AutoCAD) (essential) -Ability to use design software, including Adobe Professional suite, (desirable) -Timely, accurate work of a high quality that is effective in achieving quality outcomes for client projects.
