Acoustic Logging Technician - United Utilities

Description

• Deploying and retrieving loggers that record acoustic data used to help locate leakage
• Moving heavy items including inspection chamber covers
• Locating water main fittings using plans

Requirements

• You will enjoy working outdoors, as most of your work is conducted outside (rain or shine)
• Basic IT skills
• Tidy and well organised
• You may be required to work in confined spaces and on highways
• Working in all weather conditions (this could include night work also)
• Have good hearing
• Please note mandatory drugs and alcohol tests are undertaken for this role and a DBS check will be undertaken
• Full UK driving licence
• Willing to work occasional nights, weekends and overtime as required
• A good standard of basic maths and English
