Senior Revit MEP Technician

Description

• Collaborating with the MEP Engineering team to deliver quality BIM projects to agreed deadlines.
• Reviewing project BIM Execution Plan’s and EIR’s to meet requirements.
• Advising and guiding on the planning and management of advanced Revit techniques.
• Assisting in the development of systems and procedures to ensure effective BIM systems.
• Acting as a central point of contact for BIM issues across all disciplines and project stakeholders
• Quality control of BIM models and associated drawings, schedules etc.
• Leading and reviewing the coordination of MEP services on projects in collaboration with the rest of the project team.
• Developing sketches and concepts into drawing details with a good understanding of the engineering practices behind them.
• Setting up discipline models in line with project requirements.
• Producing detailed, coordinated service models accurately.
• Engaging with the wider Buro Happold BIM community

Requirements

• Effective and flexible communication skills and experience of working with a variety of collaborators.
• Experience of working with Autodesk Navisworks or similar product for coordination reviews
• Experience of Dynamo and an interest in digital design tools and scripting to improve efficiency and workflows would be highly advantageous.
• Ideally HNC, HND, or BEng in a relevant discipline.
• Entitlement to two memberships to professional bodies or subscriptions.
• Experience working with Autodesk Revit MEP software.
