This position will be reporting to the Branch Leader of the Lexington, KY office and will include coordination and collaboration with other area leaders and companywide leadership.
Leverage internal services in geotechnical and dams engineering to cross-sell Schnabel services in Ohio.
Coordination, oversight, risk mitigation/management, proposal/contract coordination, and senior review on design-build and other transportation-related projects of all sizes in all geographies.
Grow business in Ohio by leveraging existing contacts and building new relationships.
Talent acquisition (hiring) and staff mentoring, development, retention, and engagement and responsible for project teams’ quality of work.
Expand the geotechnical and dams business unit presence by fostering client relations, and enhancing reputation and performance.
Collaboration with other offices and business units to coordinate resource needs.
Use initiative and independent judgement in assisting the managing the Geotechnical Business Unit (GBU) operations. This includes:

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Minimum of 15 years Geotechnical engineering experience with a strong project management background and significant practical experience in Geotechnical projects.
Bachelor's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering from an ABET accredited school of engineering (Master’s Degree preferred)
Licensed Professional Engineer in Ohio, and ability to extend licensure to other US states through reciprocity.
