What you would be doing

- Creating internal BIM standards used in the projects like standards for the use of modelling tools, standards for creating object libraries etc.
- Coordinate and delegate project tasks amongst team members.
- Hold weekly coordination meetings with team members
- Development and maintenance of BIM project documentation e.g. BEP, MIDP & TIPD
- Monitoring project compliance to agreed workflows
- Selecting and implementing solutions to automate repetitive tasks like the use of Dynamo, new plugins etc
- Producing information models/content using Autodesk Revit and Civil 3D.
- Identify and provide required trainings to the team members/helping the team in upskilling as and when required.
- Support project teams in the use of BIM authoring tools
- Implementing and maintaining the project Common Data Environment (CDE)
- Carry out BIM check of models and deliverables produced by team

- Enthusiasm to learn new skills and embrace new technologies and software
- Experience of Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bently Projectwise.
- Supplementary experience in Civil/Structural Engineering Design.
- Experience in Infrastructure projects is not mandatory but will be an advantage.
- Strong 3D modelling skills (especially Autodesk Revit Structures and Civil 3D)
- Have an eye for detail and ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines
- Early design review and constructability analysis
- EngTech TMICE or similar
- Federate models and perform clash detection reporting
- Able to work on your own initiative, whilst displaying a commitment to contribute to, and learn from, the wider team.
- Able to carry out detailing in 2D environment
- Knowledge of ISO19650 / BS1192 / PAS1192-2
- Familiarity with working to industry modelling standards
- Must have excellent communication skills.
