The Make Ready role supports maintenance processes—including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic work—under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, and assists with special projects as needed.

Ensure make‑ready units meet property standards before resident move‑in (repair/replace fixtures, paint, install appliances, check plumbing/electrical).
Respond promptly to resident and management work orders for community common areas, buildings, and units.
Perform daily exterior clean‑up of grounds, buildings, breezeways, and other common areas.
Conduct swimming pool maintenance, cleaning, and accurate chemical logging.
Inspect grounds, buildings, and community features daily to identify and correct hazardous conditions.
Maintain a preventative maintenance program to extend property life and reduce future repairs.
Keep the maintenance shop organized, properly stocked, and compliant with safety and OSHA guidelines.
Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with hazard communications, safe work practices, inventory monitoring, and unit inspections.
Record service requests, EPA/OSHA compliance, preventative maintenance, and make‑ready status accurately.
Provide excellent customer service, monitor request turnaround times, and enforce community policies.
Maintain reliable transportation to meet emergency on‑call requirements.
