Respond to alarms, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions to maintain uptime and reliability.
Maintain accurate documentation, schematics, and operating procedures for control systems.
Manage and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS) for continuous monitoring of critical infrastructure.
Support commissioning, testing, and upgrades of control systems during new installations and facility enhancements.
Analyze system data to improve energy efficiency, optimize Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE), and reduce operational risks.
Program, configure, and troubleshoot automation controls for HVAC, power distribution, cooling systems, fire safety, and security.
Ensure compliance with industry standards (ASHRAE, ISO, Uptime Institute, local regulations) and company policies.
Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in automation, energy efficiency, and system resilience.

We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our data centre operations team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring, and optimization of control systems that ensure the safe, reliable, and energy-efficient operation of our mission-critical facility.

Proven experience with BMS, EMS, or SCADA systems in data centres, mission-critical facilities, or similar environments.
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Hands-on experience in system commissioning, programming, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical distribution, and automation control systems.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Control Engineering (or equivalent experience).
Familiarity with ISO standards, ASHRAE guidelines, and Uptime Institute Tier requirements.
