Health Safety Environment Advisor

Description

Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll assist in the safe and successful delivery of site works in line with “The ADCO Way” – our proven framework for quality and efficiency.

• Review documents and plans governing project delivery, providing input into HSE and quality plans to ensure alignment with project, business, and legislative requirements
• Coordinate with the Site Manager and Project Manager to ensure all project undertakings align with HSE and quality plans
• Contribute to accurate and transparent reporting of project status through Hammertech, the monthly project control report, and other required means
• Undertake HSE and quality inspections and assessments, report, document, and identify necessary actions, and ensure their implementation
• Assist in communicating project plan requirements to the wider project team and proactively support plan implementation

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of HSE legislation, standards, and best practices
• Proven experience as an HSE Advisor or similar role within the commercial construction space
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels
• Experience with management system software, e.g., Hammertech (preferable)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Minimum Cert IV WHS
