- Optimize processes to enhance performance, productivity, and user experience.
- Coordinate with other engineers, management, and the creative departments to determine design solutions.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of automation scripts & tools to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Aides in communication with the Design/Drafting teams to maintain standards.
- Assists in the development of 2D drafting/design tools to improve efficiency within the Engineering department.
- Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.
- Maintain existing engineering records and designs.
- Supports conceptual and preliminary models/drawings to be used for development of product.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering department and other teams to understand project requirements.

- Four-year degree in Computer Science (or similar field of study) or Four years of industry experience in similar technical field.
- Experience using Python, VBA, C# or other programming languages.
- Travels, when necessary, for product development at other AAON plants.
- Works effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
- Proficiency in utilizing a distributed version control system, particularly Git, with in a team setting.
- Communicates effectively in written and spoken form.
- Exhibits good decision making and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Strong collaborative skills, effectively engaging with colleagues to drive projects forward through clear communication.
- Experience using computer-aided design such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or SolidEdge is a plus.
- Works effectively in a team environment.
- Lift up to 50lbs.
- Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills.
