Description

The consultant will market and lease apartments in line with BHOM policies, providing professional resident services and ensuring a positive customer experience.

• Maintain excellent customer service per BHOM Living Playbook and policies
• Greet prospective residents and show model, market‑ready units and common areas
• Lease apartments and sell property products and services to prospects
• Assist prospective residents with online application completion
• Respond to internet leads, answer calls, and conduct property tours per guidelines
• Optimize occupancy while maximizing leased rent
• Use sales and marketing strategies to increase traffic, maintain closing ratios, and exceed occupancy targets
• Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property and competition
• Assist with market surveys as needed
• Collect deposits and fees associated with move‑in
• Accurately prepare and understand all lease‑related paperwork
• Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data; perform necessary data entry
• Inspect units quarterly and prior to move‑in
• Assist with planning and hosting resident events
• Audit lease and renewal files for controls and bonus submission to GM
• Assist residents with the move‑out process
• Support the turn process
• Write up and file service requests from residents
• Contribute to upkeep and cleaning of office, common areas, and model
• Perform various administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

Candidates must read and write English fluently, possess basic to intermediate math skills, and be computer literate. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and the schedule generally runs 8 am‑5 pm Monday‑Friday with occasional extended or weekend hours.

The role requires light physical activity, including frequent walking, standing, and occasional lifting of up to 25 lb (push/pull up to 50 lb). Employees are expected to conduct themselves professionally, adhere to company policies, and support B.HOM’s inclusive, equal‑opportunity workplace.

The Leasing Consultant position is based at Radius Apartments in Minneapolis, MN. It is a full‑time role (30+ hours per week) with a day shift that may include weekends, reporting to the General Manager, and offers an hourly wage of $16.00‑$18.00.
