Follow equipment repair in shops to ensure timely and proper repair.
Actively participate in process improvement programs such as Six Sigma, etc.
Perform equipment failure analysis (i.e. root cause analysis) to determined and correct equipment problems to prevent reoccurrence.
Work with other engineers to develop and improve maintenance procedures for equipment inspection and repair.
Evaluate fixed equipment fitness for continued service.
Participate in the PACE culture of safety and demonstrates strong safety culture through personal behavior and commitment to environmental, health & safety.
Review fixed equipment inspection reports and recommendations for equipment repair and/or replacement.
Review inspection frequencies of pressure safety valves to ensure they are adequate and track compliance.
Ensure inspections are done timely and that the inspection intervals are optimized.

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is required; PE, CMRP, API 510, API 570, API 653 certifications a plus
Experience with stationary equipment is required; knowledge of NDE, shop processes, ASME/API code, corrosion and metallurgy preferred.
Familiar with OSHA’s process safety management standard regarding mechanical integrity.
Self-motivated, able to work independently and as a team player.
Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office. Should also have a working knowledge of a CMMS program and an Inspection Data Management System (IDMS).
Excellent organizational and communication skills, and problem-solving ability.
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance/reliability work in the petrochemical industry.
