The Loan Processor will manage loan files from receipt through final approval, ensuring correct stacking order, AU findings, and complete documentation. Responsibilities include submitting files to the regional underwriting center, addressing underwriting conditions, maintaining communication logs, and participating in weekly processor meetings.
- Oversee loan file receipt from Loan Officer through final approval.
- Review files for correct stacking order, AU findings, and required documentation; update systems and re‑run AU determinations.
- Submit files to DHI Underwriter, track and resolve underwriting conditions, and resubmit after changes.
- Follow Quality Control policies, attend QC meetings, and address QC write‑ups within 10 days.
- Monitor daily and weekly loan reports, including Loan Processor, Project to Close, Timeline Exception, and Loans in Process reports.
- Review and act on the Loan Officer’s “needs list.”
- Maintain accurate communication logs and attend weekly processor meetings.
- Reconcile the Fee Summary Sheet.

The role requires a one‑year college or technical certificate, three to six months of related experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office and email, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions.
