Electrical Project Manager
Modern Niagara
Modern Niagara provides mechanical, electrical, and building systems solutions for diverse sectors.
Managing budget, schedule, and coordinating with foremen, subcontractors, and vendors to deliver successful electrical projects.
Participate in client and construction meetings as required and disseminate information to our work force and subcontractors.
Participate in Estimating turnover meetings and Preconstruction meetings as required.
Manage all change order pricing in Accubid database.
Complete monthly financial forecasting reports for all assigned projects and attend Project Status Review (PSR) meetings.
Manage labour on assigned projects with the support and direction of the Electrical Operations Manager.
Review contracts for scope, maintain productivity, quality, and costs and ensure the projects are completed in a manner that supports the overall strategic and operational objectives of the company.

Effective communicator with the ability to develop and sustain productive working relationships with employees, subcontractors and other partners at all levels.
10+ years of project management experience within the construction industry would be ideal.
Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance
Previous experience working in the construction industry, particularly field work would be a strong asset.
Experience with project or construction management software (eg; Procore)
Ability to interpret site and building plans and specifications.
Ability to work autonomously with frequent travel to site locations.
General understanding of QA / QC as well as Health and Safety practices / requirements.
Post-secondary education in construction management/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
