- Assist with project costing and budgeting.
- Provide hands-on support to ensure design intent is maintained during fabrication.
- Collaborate with the Logistics team to coordinate logistics and shipping of materials and equipment.
- Maintain high attention to detail in all drafting work.
- Create and revise mechanical drawings using SolidWorks.
- Generate complete and accurate Bills of Material (BOMs).
- Troubleshoot production issues and respond to design-related inquiries.
- Work alongside Purchasing to source parts and materials aligned with project requirements.
- Schedule tasks and manage timelines effectively.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Interpret welding symbols and develop braking/forming layouts.
- Collaborate closely with production personnel to understand capabilities and limitations.
- Communicate clearly across departments and with external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Trade Compliance to ensure regulatory adherence.

- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of basic hand and power tools.
- SolidWorks proficiency required.
- Familiarity with fasteners, mechanical connections, torque specifications, and tolerances.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Technical diploma or equivalent experience in mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
- Basic understanding of voltage, amperage, and wiring.
- Familiarity with electrical certifications such as UL and CE.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed.
- Experience in a production or fabrication environment preferred.
