  • Assist with project costing and budgeting.
  • Provide hands-on support to ensure design intent is maintained during fabrication.
  • Collaborate with the Logistics team to coordinate logistics and shipping of materials and equipment.
  • Maintain high attention to detail in all drafting work.
  • Create and revise mechanical drawings using SolidWorks.
  • Generate complete and accurate Bills of Material (BOMs).
  • Troubleshoot production issues and respond to design-related inquiries.
  • Work alongside Purchasing to source parts and materials aligned with project requirements.
  • Schedule tasks and manage timelines effectively.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers.
  • Interpret welding symbols and develop braking/forming layouts.
  • Collaborate closely with production personnel to understand capabilities and limitations.
  • Communicate clearly across departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Trade Compliance to ensure regulatory adherence.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of basic hand and power tools.
  • SolidWorks proficiency required.
  • Familiarity with fasteners, mechanical connections, torque specifications, and tolerances.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Technical diploma or equivalent experience in mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
  • Basic understanding of voltage, amperage, and wiring.
  • Familiarity with electrical certifications such as UL and CE.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed.
  • Experience in a production or fabrication environment preferred.
