You will also work closely with Operations, Development, Wellbeing and Support Services to embed new systems, processes, and strategic initiatives across the region.
You will lead and coach Village Managers, uplift performance across your portfolio, apply rigorous project management to major programs of work, and ensure each community operates safely, sustainably, and in line with Levande standards.
- Champion wellbeing, compliance, safety and risk management across all operations.
- Deliver village business plans, budgeting, forecasting, CAPEX planning and ongoing financial performance management.
- Lead, coach and develop high-performing Senior Village Managers and Village Managers
- Collaborate with senior leaders to align operational performance with Levande’s broader strategic priorities.
- Lead operational change programs, including system implementations, process redesign and portfolio optimisation.
- Support development transitions, refurbishments and operational improvement initiatives.
- Partner with Residents Committees to foster transparent, constructive relationships.
- Influence a key operational region with meaningful impact on residents’ lives.
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across villages in Metro Sydney, South NSW and the ACT.

Retirement living experience is strongly preferred, but not essential for the right operational leader with strong people, commercial and change capabilities.
We are now seeking an experienced operational leader with strong strategic capability and a proven record driving large-scale operational change to oversee a key NSW/ACT portfolio. While retirement living experience is highly regarded, we also welcome applicants from other customer-centric, multi-site service environments who bring the right leadership, commercial and change management capability.

You are an experienced people leader who brings strong operational capability, commercial insight and a project-minded approach to driving uplift across multiple sites. You build trust quickly, communicate with clarity, and lead teams through change with confidence and empathy.
- Exposure to property, asset management, facilities management or development environments.
- High digital capability and confidence in using systems and data to drive accountability.
- Resilience, adaptability and the ability to lead teams through ambiguity and change.
- Experience in retirement living operations, ideally 5+ years in a leadership or multi-site capacity.
- Previous roles such as Regional/Area Manager, Operations Manager, or similar.
- Proven experience leading operational change programs such as system implementations, process redesign or uplift programs at scale
- Leadership experience overseeing multiple sites or service locations within a regulated, customer-focused environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to build trusted relationships with residents, committees and internal partners.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.
