Provide coaching and corrective guidance as needed, ensuring all dock attendants meet performance expectations and follow standard operating procedures.
Develop and manage staff schedules, including coverage planning, time-off approvals, and ensuring shifts are appropriately staffed at all times.
Monitor and manage employee timekeeping, including overtime tracking, to ensure alignment with budgetary and operational expectations.
Enforce all Fisher Island Club policies, marina regulations, and safety standards to ensure a secure environment for members, guests, and staff.
Conduct periodic audits and real-time checks to ensure attendants are actively performing rounds, logging vessel activity, and following all overnight procedures.
Maintain clear and effective communication with the Director of Marina / Marina Manager, and other relevant departments regarding incidents, staffing updates, or operational concerns.
Ensure all staff are trained in proper use of communication tools, including VHF radio protocols and emergency procedures.
Carry out additional supervisory duties and special assignments as directed by the Dockmaster.
Investigate and document all reported incidents, safety issues, or irregularities occurring during the night shift.
