FLSA Exemption: Exempt (Eligible for Straight-Time Overtime)
- Sufficient manual dexterity which permit the employee to perform routine office duties;
- Familiarity with engineering and design requirements for projects associated with oil and gas production facilities and equipment installations, including regulatory compliance (BSEE, USCG, ABS, DNV) as well as applicable codes and standards (CFR, API, ASME, NFPA);
- Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection;
- May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis.
- Availability and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously;
- Sufficient vision or other powers of observation which permits employee to conduct analysis and investigations;
- Working offshore or in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels;
- Must be able to lift and carry twenty (20) pounds;
- Experience with developing sizing calculations, technical specifications, drawings, and data sheets associated with oil and gas production facilities including equipment, instrumentation, and specialty piping items;
- Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities which permits employee to communicate effectively;
- May be at more than one job site in a day and must be able to tolerate climate changes;
- Work is primarily conducted in an office environment (Private or Semi-Private office) but may require occasional travel to off-site work locations;
- Ability to interact with staff at all levels.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time;
- Availability and ability to work overtime as needed based on project;
- Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes to perform office duties and travel when necessary to off-site locations.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to interact with staff at all levels;
- Requires the ability to travel to client sites, both onshore and offshore;
