The role of BIM Coordinator will oversee and guide BIM production teams on large‑scale mixed‑use, high‑rise, institutional, and commercial developments, working closely with architectural teams in the healthcare, education, and residential sectors. Based in the Western Canadian offices, the coordinator will supervise Revit/CAD projects, ensure strict compliance with Arcadis standards, and provide technical support and mentorship to drive continuous improvement and higher drawing quality.
Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive clash detection, managing and auditing BIM models, developing and refining workflow processes, and ensuring that BIM deliverables meet both client expectations and Arcadis quality standards. The coordinator will also author and review BIM Execution Plans, lead coordination meetings, create parametric Revit families, and support quality management initiatives.
Candidates must have at least eight years of BIM/Revit experience, including five years focused on architectural construction documentation for large, complex projects, and hold a relevant diploma or degree. Expertise in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC, and AutoCAD is required, along with strong communication, facilitation, and mentoring skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous professional development.
