- Develop a preliminary cost estimate for medical equipment based on the Space Program, Conceptual Design or Schematic Design drawings
- Conduct a solo equipment assessment or inventory of existing medical equipment and assess for potential reuse; Document equipment in a format that can be added to the Medical Equipment (MEQ) database as needed and potentially handed off to others
- Ensure design follows owner standards and requirements, and IMEG standards
- Interface with users to assess equipment needs and location of equipment on drawings which would include phone communication, e-mail, virtual or in-person meetings
- Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk, see, hear, and lift objects up to 25 pounds
- Collaborate with design staff and coordinate scheduling of projects during all phases of design and construction; Schedule and lead progress meetings and provide meeting documentation; Create project schedules including targets for milestones and deadlines
- Assist Project Executives and Client Executives with design scopes of work and fee calculations for proposal generation as well as with contract reviews
- Attend industry conferences with the intent of developing relationships, obtaining leads for potential future projects, attending educational sessions, and providing a presentation to the Medical Equipment Planning team on topics learned during the educational sessions
- Serve as the point of contact for teams and clients; Build, maintain, and develop client relationships
- Respond to and resolve client/construction concerns; Manage change orders and obtain appropriate approvals
- Coordinate, oversee and manage projects ranging in size and complexity
- Arrange for site visits or product demos as needed for equipment evaluations
- Ensure design milestone deliverables are achieved, IMEG and client quality control processes are completed, and construction technical support occurs in a timely manner
- Create monthly billings and submit financial information to Accounting in a timely manner; Update billing projections and estimated completion percentage for all projects monthly

- Demonstrated leadership traits in the Project Management career path
- 6 years of experience minimum required,4 preferred, in the medical equipment consulting industry
- Bachelor Degree in Clinical Engineering, Bio-Medical Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Plumbing Engineering, or equivalent required
- Ability to sell work and develop client relationships
- Will have limited exposure to outside weather conditions and loud noises
- Ability to perform final quality control check in their area of expertise
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel up to 60% with overnight stays
- Associate degree, or certificate, in Clinical Engineering, Bio-Medical Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering is preferred
- 8 years of experience minimum required, 10 preferred, in the medical equipment consulting industry
- Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups
- Occasionally required to drive, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach with hands or arms, and grasp or pull
- Building Information Modeling (BIM) experience required
- Proficient with MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong technical and analytical skills including proficiency of principles in Medical Equipment Planning
- Ability to write MEQ specifications for the purpose of being used for bid comparison and preform vendor analysis to create bid recommendation documents and led users through the decision-making process
- Ability to mentor, train, motivate, and lead others
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
