We are seeking a meticulous and proactive individual to support the Payroll Manager in delivering accurate and timely payroll for all UK and ROI staff. The role involves maintaining statutory compliance and providing excellent service to internal stakeholders, while offering exposure to a broad range of payroll processes and legislation within a supportive finance team.
- Prepare and process monthly payroll for all UK and ROI employees.
- Maintain and update payroll records and employee data in the payroll system.
- Respond to employee queries on pay, deductions, and taxes.
- Reconcile payroll reports and support month‑end processes with senior team members.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and company policies.
- Administer pensions, auto‑enrolment, benefits and statutory payments such as SSP and SMP.
- Prepare reports for internal and external audits.
- Safeguard confidentiality and security of payroll information.
- Stay up to date with payroll legislation and HMRC requirements.

- Prior experience in payroll or finance support.
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and payroll software (e.g., Sage, ADP).

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum two years’ proven payroll experience (desirable).
- Working knowledge of auto‑enrolment legislation (desirable).
- Ability to calculate PAYE and NIC manually (desirable).
- Degree‑level education or equivalent (desirable).
