Controls Specialist I

Overview

Assist with invoicing, reporting, data entry, and support for project budgets.

Tasks

-Review employee timesheets and expense reports to ensure compliance with company and client policies. -Assist the Executive Leadership Team with various initiatives. -Enter and maintain job-related data in Deltek and Excel. -Clean and filter data to improve clarify and highlight KPI's. -Prepare client-required invoice backup documentation, verify labor and expense charges, finalize invoices, submit through client portals (e.g., Coupa) and ensure accurate recordkeeping. -Collaborate with Management Team to foster a productive and encouraging environment. -Generate and update various reports using Deltek and Excel to help project managers monitor project budgets and spending. -Act as role model for Welty Core Values, OPTIC (Openness, Passion, Teamwork, Integrity, Customer Centricity). -Provide orientation and onboarding sessions for all new hires.

As a Welty Energy Controls Specialist I, You May As part of the Welty Energy Team, the Controls Specialist I will work closely with our internal project management and engineering teams to plan resources, track budgets and issue accurate, timeline invoices. This role requires strong attention to detail, responsiveness, and the ability to collaborate with team members across all levels of the organization. -MS Office proficiency (e.g., Teams, Outlook, Excel, etc.). -Experience using Deltek VantagePoint or similar project-management software. -Associates degree and/or a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. -Availability, as needed, to work non-traditional hours to meet project demands.
