What you would be doing
- Lead in all aspects of Safety to ensure the safe operation of the site is in line with Tarmac standards.
- Drive the mortar operations strategy working alongside the plant Manager in ensuring delivery of safe, profitable, and efficient plant operations.
- Assist with delivery of operations performance to meet or exceed targets for cost of production, quality, OTIF, waste, OEE, energy usage and working capital and report on performance to the mortar operations manager.
- Assist with the implementation of an operations plan that meets the needs of the commercial strategy and is customer focussed.
- Direct and support teams in delivering exceptional quality performance with a focus on complaints, cost of deliveries, and new product development.
- Accountable for the safety, leadership, and financial performance of the operation in Glasgow DSM
- Direct and support Continuous Improvement projects & Preventative Maintenance Programmes and participate in the identification of opportunities to improve performance in terms of utilisation, costs, safety, and quality.
